What are our ‘smart’ devices learning from us? The Internet of Things is not just a benign
network of consumer technologies: it also informs our perspective on the world. In this talk, hosted by Tactical Tech, sound artist and researcher Wesley Goatley will explore the power and politics that are hidden inside black-box technologies, through works like 'The Dark Age of Connectionism’, which examines how Amazon’s Echo may not only be listening to your voice, but might be exploiting other sounds of your home too.
Details: Tuesday, February 6th, 7pm - 8:30pm, ACUD MACHT NEU Studio, Veteranenstraße 21, Admission Free
